AESOP ROCK & KIMYA DAWSON

Aesop Rock performed with Kimya Dawson for the first time
here in Spokane last night at the Knit along with Rob Sonic
and DJ Big Wiz. Such a good show! Aesop and Kimya have
collaborated on a new record which might have made some
people wonder what it would sound like, but they proved real
quick how well they mesh together. Am looking forward to the
album as well as Aesop's. All of them including (Rob Sonic & DJ
Big Wiz) have albums out and/or coming out. It seems we made
a good impression on them as Aesop referred to us Spokanites
a couple of times as being such nice people.
Thanks for coming here!

Please join us this Wednesday the 10th, 6:30pm @ Neato
Burrito downtown for the 3rd issue of RiverLit Magazine. It's a
quarterly literary arts magazine featuring Spoane-area
poets and authors. It's run by the non-profit, RiverSpeak,
a Spokane-based community forum for new and established
artists to share work, connect and build community.
My Picasso Tribute was selected for the cover art and a
surprise piece for the back as well. Copies will be available
for $10ea to fund the continuation of the magazine.
Artists will be reading slammin' their poetry, so come and
check it out.
